Im just wondering...is Aperture basically the same thing as iPhoto but sweeter? If I were to get Aperture, can I just delete iPhoto? Will pictures import into Aperture just like iPhoto?

I'm not an expert, but iPhoto can do things that Aperture can't, like the Ken Burns effect for slideshows. Aperture can read your iPhoto library, but I don't know if you would ever want to get rid of iPhoto completely...
