Hi, I'm using a first generation iPhone and I'm on version 3.0 on Rogers Wireless in Canada. When I first jailbroke and unlocked the phone at version 3.0, APN Editing from Cydia installed just fine and the Cellular Data Network appeared, and could change the APN.

But I just recently restored my phone again, and when I install APN Editing from Cydia, the Celluar Data Network doesn't appear anymore. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Found a fix/workaround:

Add xsellize.com/cydia as a source, and then install Supreme Preferences 3.0.
Headover to WinterBoard to enable Supreme Preferences, then go to Settings, Supreme Preferences, Applications, Phone, and then enable Cellular Network Data Edit and APN will appear.
