APN Settings on jailbroken phone?

Hello:

I've jailbreaked and unlocked my iphone 3G (thanks DevTeam!) and my phone is working with my carrier here in India.

I'm setting up a data plan but I realized i no longer have my APN setting available. I did a little reading and one user suggested to reset the network settings, and another option seems to be to install the "BigBoss" APN Editing app from Cydia.

Any problem with doing either option on a jailbroken/unlocked phone? I'm being over cautious...

I installed the APN app, and it re-added the "Cellular Data Network" option. The settings were populated already, which I guess means I didn't have to set them--they were just there in the background. So "nevermind"
