Hello!
On several recent/newer phones you may provide GPRS setup data yourself. In a E90 communicator, as well for example in a SE K810 phone, you can define an internet access by APN string, userid, password, and several options (ppp,ip,chap, pap, mschp, secure password etc). On a Nokia 6233 you can only supply the APN name, but no userid/pw and login option - thus it doesnt work with some providers.
Is this also possible on the retail non-hacked-beaten iPhone 2.0 to create such a ISP access point and declare it as default? Anyone did this in Europe already, preferable with an austrian / german iPhone 2.0?
Best regards,
Philipp
