I have an Apogee Duet that I've been using for a few years. It's the original model and I've been using it with my Macbook Pro via FW800. However, I'm thinking of trading in the Pro for an Air but unfortunately the air only has USB and Thunderbolt ports. Does anyone know if there is a way to use the original Duet with either USB or Thunderbolt? Some sort of magical adapter?

The only thing that could work is a TB > FW adapter, but there's still no news on when one might be available for purchase.
