Apogee Duet speaker problem

I hooked up my speakers to the Apogee Duet but both my speakers and headphones has music coming out of it now. How do I make it so my speakers only plays when I switch it to speakers? When I use my headphones I just want sound coming out of my headphones and not the speakers as well, but then when I stop using my headphones I want to be able to get the sound out of the speakers.

You can configure this in the Maestro software.
I set mine up (FW Duet) so that when I press and hold the control knob, it alternates between monitor output, and headphone output.
