Apogee ensem + 003r bla questions

I got a budget of $10-20,000, I just ordered a digi 003 rack with bla signature mod, waiting for the new mac pro as computer, demoing different monitor speakers like genelec 8040a, mackie hr824s... I primarily use logic but I need to use protools too, I figure for pro tools I'll use digi 003 as main interface, 4 modded bla preamps, and then buy an apogee ensemble put it in standalone mode and send it into 003 thru adat for 16 channels. After apogee's 4 built in preamps I should have 8 free channels for outboard pre's (4 on 003 and 4 on apogee) I will buy vintec 1076, 6 api's, and another preamp. My question is when I use logic can I have ensemble as primary interface and feed the 8 digi 003 analog inputs out to ensemble thru adat, essentially reversing my setup? And also does any1 have any gear suggestions, monitors with deep low end for hip hop but also flat and accurate, good vocal Pre, mic for under 2k?

I own two Apogee Ensemble's. I'm pretty sure they will release a new model this or early next year since it looks like everything else has been updated in the last few months except for the Ensemble ! So if possible, I'd wait if it matters to you. The Symphonie i/O looks sweet, too
