Apogeee software download, crazy?

I have been waiting hours now to get a conformation mail to download drivers for my Apogee One iPad/Mac. This is crazy. What's going on? It's free software! and they even wan't my phone number???

Last I looked you didn't even need to register to download drivers and support software anyway? I think registering is just for warranty reasons..
