If you've enabled App Exposé in Trackpad preferences you can use three (or four, depending on your config) fingers to swipe down over an app and see all that app's windows.

Great. But --

Is it possible, in that view, to close a window? I have 9ish Safari windows open at a time (and I use windows instead of tabs because there's no way I've found to see those tabs in App Exposé/Mission Control/cluster$%@# view) and it can be a chore to
  • three-finger swipe down
  • click on window I want to close
  • command-W

  • ....

I did discover that in App Exposé you can highlight a window and hit the space bar to zoom in the window... is there something similar to close it??

thx

I've never really thought about it, but that would be a handy feature to have in certain situations. I don't think there is any current way to do what you want.

Maybe they will eventually add an option like Dashboard has where you hold down the Option key while hovering over a window and click the little X button to close/remove it. Something like that would be very handy in Expose'.
