Say I have a Safari window open in Desktop 1 and a separate Safari window open in Desktop 2. If I invoke app expose on Safari in Desktop 1 and then press escape, I will automatically be switched to the Safari window in Desktop 2. Why does this happen? I did not click on the Safari window in Desktop 2 - I just closed app expose.

This happens with all apps, not just Safari. Is there a way to turn it off?

I don't have a solution, just wanted to say that I have the same problem.

How about other people? Can anyone confirm or disconfirm that issue on their Mac? I'm curious whether it's a bug in Lion or it might be fixed by reinstalling from scratch.
