I used to have a subroutine on my PC to do a clean delete of "App". In a PC this even cleaned its entries in the register. Is there something like that available for macOS? Here is my problem. After the latest macOS update, 15.4 I have 2 instances of Chrome that are fighting with each other to load. One is the current version, the other is an older one. I get the finder window with the slide of the icon of the file window whenever I restart the Mac or bring it out of standby this is the older version. I have deleted every chrome thing I can find in the files but it isn't working. The result is the little "Wait a minute" roundel and Chrome completely hangs up. I need something to clean out Chrome and start over.
