MacBook Pros with retina screens don't play well with Windows 8.1. I find it annoying having to go into the control panel and change the scale of the Windows UI when I switch to and from an external display. Creating a task to launch this program when you login will give you an easy way to change the scale with a push of a button. It will log you out to apply the change immediately as well.
