app for full brightness range

has anyone seen any apps to change the brightness range?

i would like for my phone to use the FULL range - when i'm outside at night, i want it as dark as it gets, and in the full sun i want max brightness. i have it on auto-adjust but I want it to use the full possible range.

any ideas?

I just use SBSettings(jailbroken) so I can quickly swipe and change without going through menus.


I haven't heard of a better auto-brightness app myself though.
