App for notes that can be freezed

Does anyone know of an app where you can take notes and freeze them where there is some prompt that ensures that you arent editing its content?

i dont need it hidden by a PW or anything.

I just want a prompt that makes sure i know I have or havent about to edit the notes content.

If you use something like MS Word, you can set a document to read only.
