What's a really great, but equally simple app that accomplishes the task of scanning papers from your printer to your Mac? ScanDrop is okay, but the free version is limited to 15 pages per month, and there's a lot of bloat there I don't care for.

Any recommendations?

You could try Preview > File > Import from scanner or the software, that came with the scanner, if it has Mac OS X compatible software of course.

Wow. Didn't even occur to me that OS X may have built in software for it. >_< Thanks.

I have a wireless printer, and I also use Image Capture to scan straight to my MacBook. Works perfectly, even over wireless.
