I need to communicate on my schools "Blackboard" in the weekly discussion boards. We were already told that we couldn't copy and paste from Microsoft Word as it doesn't work. I have been using the app "TextEdit" for about the past year and the copy and paste portion works ok. The problem I am having is that even when I copy and paste, the Blackboard doesn't mimic exactly what I have and start new paragraphs. I could have a hundred spaces between paragraphs on the TextEdit and it still won't separate once on the schools site.
So what I am asking, can anyone recommend an App that will work like NotePad for PC on the Mac?
It's amazing that it's 2012 and the school still doesn't have the updates that it needs for the students to use Apple products. I guess that only a few people own MacBooks in this day and age.....
