I've tried out a few apps and currently am using notability. Just curious if there is something out there that will just pick the stylus up, love notability but the not being able to let my wrist make contact is awkward for note taking, I've searched multiple threads and forms, all talk about precision or the stylus itself nothing about hand Detection

It's usually called Wrist Protection and almost all note taking apps have some form of another.

Penultimate has it - but is 'invisible' to the end user.
Upad has it as well - but it's an actual dark grey 'layer' that the end user can move up/down as desired.

lots of them have it, but in my experience, it is totally unnecessary. if you have something like note taker hd, the zoom feature means you are writing at the bottom of the screen, so your hand rests (if at all) on the bezel.

Try Noteshelf - I've tried dozens, and think this works really well, with an intuitive wrist protection system.
