Is there an app for watching live tv off of an hauppauge on my windows 7 computer? I know there's something from equinux, but that's mac only. Is there a windows counterpart to it? Thanks.

The latest version of Hauppauge's own software, WinTV, comes with something called Extend. It's compatible with windows 7. You can get a disc from Hauppauge for $10. There's no app associated with it, but what it does is allow you to navigate to an assigned IP address from your iPad's browser. It essentially provides a web-app that includes a list of your channels and window for the video, which can be enlarged to display full screen. Any channel you can display on your desktop can be displayed this way on your iPad. It's pretty slick, but of limited use to me because I don't get many channels via my Hauppauge USB stick.

Is there any app or website that streams any live (in real time) TV directly over the Internet that is Ipad friendly?

I have slingplayer. It works for the iPad but for now it is not native resolution so looks grainy at 2x.
