After syncing apps to the Apple Watch from iPhone 5s the icons don't display correctly. They look correct whilst the apps are installing but once they're fully installed there is no icon, just a blank/grey icon - see below.

All OS software is up to date and the icons appear fine on the phone. The apps also open correctly and function as normal once they're opened.

That usually happening after unpair- repair apple watch.

Anyone have any ideas?

Delete them from the :apple:Watch (or using the :apple:Watch app if you can't) and then restart both your iPhone and :apple:Watch and then reinstall the Apps from the :apple:Watch App.

restarting the watch or removing the app from watch and adding again did the trick. i wonder what's the main reason about that. i hope it'll be totally fixed on watchOS 3
