iP 4

Connected iP4 to my Mac. Message to update iP software appeared on Mac. I updated. After update was done, I later unplugged iPhone by mistake w/o "ejecting" in iTunes.

NOW, all Apps on iP screen are still visible, but when I touch an App to launch it, it flashes as if starting then stops. Apps still visible, but none work.

Have restarted and replugged in to Mac. No luck. Baffled.

There's no need to eject an iPhone from iTunes. If the screen was black (i.e. it had finished updating, syncing) then it was safe to remove.

Oh… I just noticed that you said you restarted it, and that was going to be my only suggestion. :(

rookie mistake...went back to App Store on iP. Hit update. Only 4 showed as needing it. All work properly now.
:)
