Someone (I think I know who) apparently tried to download an app called "Clipsex18+" to my iPad2. From the icon, it looks like it is at the 80% mark but if I click on it it gives me a message about being unable to download. I want to delete it and the icon but it does not show up in the list on iTunes. For now I have pushed it off to the last screen page but I would like to be rid of it completely.

Is there another way I can get rid of it?

And if you press and hold the app icon, doesn't the cross (delete) appear, I assume?

Did you try synching with iTunes (to see if it removes the app).
Did you try switching the iPad off and on back again?

I fear that I too often seek the esoteric rather than the obvious. I just "X"'d it out and it didn't come back. Thank you ipsychedelic.

Hehe, I hope you just replied pretty late and not that you had this problem for over a month!!

But yeh... sometimes the solution to things is the easiest one.
