We have been using Quicken on our sons PC cause that’s what I have known for a long time. But there’s a few things I have never liked. Only one email can be the log in. I have to ask my wife for a code every time I log in. 🤬 It’s some times slow to upload new data. Like cleared debits. Is there an app that is simple, I hate how most have gone to this envelop system. I like being able to just put my month expenses in and it links to my bank and does auto reconcile of my budget. Thanks for any recommendEd apps.

Mint is the lesser, cheaper brother of Quicken.

CountAbout isn't free, but is web based (it also has an iOS app) and it also can import data from Quicken.

YNAB (You need a budget) is even more expensive but it's harder to get a full feature list from their website.

I've not used either of the last two, just aware of them is all.
