Does anyone know what the max size of an app in iTunes can be? I am working on an app that requires a lot of HD video to be stored locally. I've no idea what compression methods can be used to get the file size down but I'm looking at probably 4 hours of video total.

Anyone know?

Cheers.

Why are you storing HD video if there are no devices with HD screens.

If it's an iPhone app there is no reason to distribute video larger than 960 x 640. Or 1024 x 768 if it's universal.

Yep good point. The source is HD but I'll downsize it to fit the iPad.
