Question - non jail broken iphone 4.. latest OS; etc.

I am going to have to replace my phone due to cracked screen... aside from the usual backup-restore... how can i save my app locations and subfolder structures etc?

I believe you need to click "Export Library" and your itunes will ask you where do you want to save it and I believe it will save everything on your itunes (music, photos, videos, apps, etc...)

It's not even a backup/restore, when you plug the new phone in, iTunes will ask you if you want to set it up as a "New Phone" or as "insert name of previous phone here"

-Select the previous phone configuration and everything should be exactly as you left it on the old phone.

Perfect!

just want to add; backup and restore only preserve apple permitted layouts. ie if you have jailbroken and tweaked your layout this won't work the same way. if you haven't jailbreaked then you'll be fine with what the guys have already said :)
