Is it possible to put an app solely on the Apple Watch and not on my phone?

For example, I use Weatherbug on my phone to look at radar and there's no Apple Watch version of that app yet. I want to be able to quickly check the weather radar on my watch and there's an app I found but I only want it on my watch so I don't have 2 weather apps on my phone.

All apple watch apps currently are just extensions of iPhone apps. That means your not going to find watch only apps. From what I have read, later this year a new SDK will be released which will allow developers to code native watch apps without the required iPhone counterpart.
