App Opens, Flashes once on the doc, and then Closes

I'm having some trouble with a few apps I downloaded (Specifically bodega and magnifique ).

What happens is i open the app, it flashes once on the dock and then closes like there was an error...

Ive re-installed the apps and same thing happens.

Not sure what to do, hopefully somebody had a similar experience and got an answer.

have you made sure your system meets the requirements?

did you copy the app from the drive to the app folder? or are you running it from the install disk?

Yeah make sure its installed properly and that it can run on your system. When ever that happened to me when I first got my mac it was because I tired to copy and paste it. Dont work so well

Hmm, They are'nt on disks, they are like web apps that you download, but dont need to install.

maybe programs is a better word for them?

regardless, they dont open.

Any more ideas?

i meant from the install app disc image that appears on your desktop when loading them not physical discs sorry lol

Heres the app bodega one thats not working for me

I click download
It shows up on my desktop, I double click
It flashes on the doc, and closes.

Same thing with the other one

Yeah ive emailed them, but its happening with all the different apps that ive recently tried to download
