Is there now country specific App Prices?

None of the price drops in the App Store are reflecting in the India ( checked UK store also ) :(
example in US Canada Mass Effect is US$.99 now in India US$4.99 in UK 2.99 pounds

It generally reflects immi. but this time its been 8 hours since the drop in the US:(

There's always been country-specific prices...

It could be an entirely separate app like said in your link. There could also be an option to charge separate prices that the response in the link you posted that may not have taken it into account or in particular for a sale.

For instance, there can be a 4th of July sale in the US (US independence day) for an app only in the US since it's a US holiday, but not anywhere else in the world at the request of the developer. But at times times there can be a sale for an app for the anniversary of an app or legacy game that's related to the app that the developer would request/allow the sale to be worldwide.

thing is its new ... the memorial sale prices for all apps across developers were reflected here ... not today none of the price drops are here ... wonder have they added a new option for setting country specific price? hmmm

Perhaps by default apps get proper exchange rate. But developers also have the option of differing prices in different countries. Try asking this question in the developers forum. They would be able to help you the best.
