Hey everyone,
I'm a recent convert from Android to iOS and I'm loving it so far. It took some getting used to, and there are a few things I prefer in Android (like the notifications, I keep swiping to dismiss them and opening them, argh!) but for the most part I like iOS better. I've been able to find replacements for nearly all of my apps, save one:
Shortyz
I've found a number of Crossword apps in the store, but none of the free ones have a fluid interface and aggregate all my favorite puzzles (from NYT, Newsday, etc) plus they have ads, which is a bit quirky, but not terrible. I'm not opposed to buying an app, but since I can't demo any, I don't know which one to buy! Can anyone recommend one, paid or free? The ads are not a deal breaker, as long as they're not egregious. Top priority is aggregating all the puzzles, followed by a good UX for typing and viewing clues, etc.
Thanks,
Matt
