App specific iOS 6 status bar and keyboard colors

Just updated to the latest UPS app (v2.1). I'm using iOS 6 beta 4 and the app supports a custom color top status bar and keyboard bar.

Yes, developers have the option to set the status bar color. By default, though, the status bar color is based on the color of the navigation bar.

This looks default to me, since the status bar color is determined by the bottom pixel of the navigation bar.

They keypad is indeed using a custom color though.

i think this app is using the default setting because i don't think any normal person would design something that ugly

The keypad looks quite normal to me. I've been able to add a view above the keypad that animates along side it, and of course design it how I like - before iOS 6.
