App Store “Today” Tab Begins Showing Editorial Content

Apple has started publishing content of the Today tab of the App Store. New “App of the Day” and “Game of the Day” sections are featured, as well as others relating to Game of Thrones and Pokémon Go.

Over the past few days, the Apps and Games tabs have also been receiving new featured sections both in the carousel at the top and towards the bottom of the page focusing on new and updated apps, In-App Purchases and other highlighted app categories.

Seems like thy finally started working on the App Store. A lot of us had been stuck on the June 26 date

Yeah I don’t know why but I love the “tiles” look with the bolder texts. I’m glad they used drop shadows because dayummm it’s pretty. Even when it’s a single column view on the iPhone. It’s just so colorful

Yes, the Today tab is updated – but since then I'm unable to install any apps (or app updates) via the App Store on iOS. Have to use iTunes instead.

This worked the last few days only now it doesn't.

I can now download apps. Previously it required a device restart every time I wanted to get something.
