Does anyone know how the App Stores "New Lists" are compiled or how an app makes it onto this list? Im just doing a view of the Lifestyle Category "New Apps" List (UK Store/Desktop App Store) and at the top i have random list of about 60 (in no apparent order) and then after that there are hundreds more but only starting with the letter "A" and i cant view any more.

1) Are the random or so 60 "New" ones that have also made it onto any of the App Stores curated "featured" lists previously

2) Presumably there are new lifestyle apps out there that start with a letter other than "A"???

3) The current number 1 position for lifestyle new (in UK store) is a banking app from "Barclays", but when i look at the release/update date it was back in March 2013 and there are many newer and better apps than this.

Has anyone any idea about this? Or am i just viewing this list in the wrong way. Even when i click to view the list by "name" and not featured it still only shows the "A"s and the additional ones from the "featured" list

Any knoweldgable insight on this would be much appreciated :)
