This is brutal to sort through here now. From all the free, trial, "Lite" apps and other nonsense I've downloaded over the years my "Not On This iPhone" and "All" lists in the App Store are huge... kinda of defeats the convenience of this feature across devices at the moment.
 
I think they need it not just because of the sheer amount of "crap" people might have, but some things are embarassing or potentially dangerous in some situations.

Amazon handles it quite well on the Kindle Store allowing you to delete something if you don't want it archived (with an appropriate warning about having to buy it again).

What if you delete something from your History that you might later want to use again, or what if you Delete something that you didn't mean to Delete... Should Apple then have a History Tab for your History Tab?
