Earlier I tried to download an app but it said it can't connect to the store. has anyone else experienced this problem???

Yes. I have the exact same problem with the app store right now...
never had this before though. at least not that i can remember

Im wondering how much people are experiencing this issue. its not a trend on Twitter yet :p although i twittered #AppStoreDown

might just be a problem for just the both of us lol .

Seems like the whole of iTunes is having issues. I'm getting similar errors whilst trying to browse music.

I just tried again and couldn't get in.

If someone could post when it's available, that would help.

RE: Is the appstore down

+1

been trying all morning...thought there was something wrong with
my router...glad to see its not just me

same for me, from both iPhone and computer...
i really want it to be working, because
there's an app update that really intrigues me...

for some reason, i can't attach the picture, but
95.8 Capital FM
a radio station app, lists the following has one of the new features on the update:
"* Background listening so you can continue listening whilst using other applications on the device (excludes Safari)"

backgrounding?

Edit: photo attached

This just means that they do the wunderadio technique. You press a button, it launches safari. You then press something else and after than if you exit safari it will still be running.

It does state excluse safari.

But im afraid the app store is still down or something :( wonder what is going down.

I was having some problems earlier with iTunes, but it seems to be OK now, and I just downloaded an app with no problems. Glad to know it's not just me. I usually figure I'm doing something wrong.

I actually thought the same thing. I thought that I broke my AppStore 'setup ' if you will on my iphone when i logged out via Settings. lol.
