Just wondering if someone uses the family account sharing feature in itunes/app store for their kids apps downloading usages.
I personally see plenty of downsides to using this feature:
My App Store account is linked to a credit card which means the kids will be able to buy content using my credit card. Yes I know if they click on 'buy contents' or any in app purchase, i should (???) get a message to approve it first so I can reject everything.
I am personally much more comfortable with the idea of creating them a separate App Store account with no credit card linked, so they can tap away all they like on in app purchases!
Using this feature takes away the flexibility of moving to Google Android device in the future for me. How else will I approve/reject anything they download when Im on an Android device for example?
I just wanted to hear others opinions on this. For now I havent activated family sharing, but i am open to doing so if I see benefits in doing so.
