App Store freezes when clicking on "Updates"

Not sure why, but I get the never ending beach ball and have to force quit the app. I've sent about 10 reports to apple so far Anyone else having this issue? A simple restart didn't fix anything.

Don't force quit. Mine was doing the same thing, and I let it sit for 10-15 minutes and it eventually loaded. I'm guessing it's like a first time scan of your entire computer.

I can't even buy apps because of this freezing issue. There servers must be getting hammered because anything I do causes it to freeze. I tried waiting out the "beachball" and got nothing.

Im having the same problem. Ive restarted, shut down, and reset the pram. Nothing has worked. Is there a way to uninstall it and reinstall?
