I went to update an App in iOS 8 and after rejecting my password a few times I noticed that the ID was my gf's email address, but when I went to the bottom of the 'Featured' section it showed me signed in, so I signed out and resigned in again but that did not help.

So I went to the iTunes store also in iOS 8 and I was also signed into that so again I signed out and signed in but still when I went back to the App store my gf's email address was in there.

It just asks me for my password, the account is already set and I can't change it.

What is going on here?

Any help appreciated.

You need to delete whatever app of hers is on your phone and install a copy of your own. It'll always update using the credentials of the person who bought the app.

That's weird, it's just the Google maps app, that had nothing to do with her, I deleted it and then I was able to press the cloud download button without needed to enter anything. This must have just been some sort of a glitch.

Thanks
