Hello,

on my Macbook Pro M5 with MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1 i have the following issue:

When i install an App from the Apple App Store the App gets installed but in System Informations Software Installations the Installation is not shown. Also the Installation is no mentioned in /Library/Recipients/InstallHistory.plist

Can anyone confirm this on a new clean Installation of Tahoe?

This would be weird indeed. Please post a screenshot of your app installations from System Information.

Sorry I have this only in German.

Here the Screenshot from Installations

Here the Screenshot from Appstore

uBlock Origin-Lite, Mp3tag, Windows App, WhatsApp Messenger is installed on the macbook from app store. Non of these Apps is shown in the System Informations - Installations as you can see.

After updateing an imac m1 from Sequoia to Tahoe 26.0.1 there is the same issue.

Also on both machines no Installation from Appstore Apps is logged in /Library/Recipients/InstallHistory.plist

Maybe this is now new with Tahoe and was changed by Apple.

Also in System wide Automatic Update Settings the Configuration Item to Update Store Apps is not present anymore in Tahoe.

Thank you. That’s not right. In fact, your list of installed software is exceedingly short. You should see everything installed. Tahoe did not change this.

Do you mean Programs (or Programme in German). This one is a really long list and also includes e.g. the installed Mp3tag

But in past MacOS Releases these Apps from App Store were also listed in the Section Installationen here. I have this change on all my Tahoe machines - independ if upgrade from an older MacOs or after clean installation.

In a german Forum someone saids that this was changed and Store App Installations will only show up now in the Programme Section.
