MacOS 26.2

App store app is borked. Discover tab shows blank page. Searching for an app shows blank page. Oddly enough, I can still update apps that have updates

My Internet is working normally

If this were a regular app, I'd re install it. But it's the app store. What can I do? I do not want to re install MacOS

Only time I’ve had this happen was when I was using a VPN. Beyond that, I’m assuming you’ve done the usual things like restarting? I’ve seen others delete their AppStore plist files and then reboot but I’ve never done it first hand.

Thanks but I'm not using a VPN. I've restarted

And as I said I could update apps that had updates, so it's unlikely my Apple ID is bad or it's a network issue

Where might I find the app store plist?

Got it. I had a similar experience once with the VPN so I was just curious. Updates seemed to load/show-up but the rest of the App Store experience was not showing.

Locate the following files:
  • com.apple.appstore.plist
  • com.apple.storeagent.plist
In the past, I’ve also signed out/back in with my Apple account whenever I’d run into odd issues like this. YMMV.
