Following this morning's iCloud and iTunes downtime, Apple's services appear to be experiencing another outage, this time affecting several of the company's online stores.

The App Store, iTunes Store, Mac App Store, iBooks Store, and Apple TV are non-functional for some users at the current time, with content inaccessible. MacRumors has received several complaints about App Store apps not downloading.

According to Apple's system status page, all of the above listed services are affected, along with iTunes Match, iTunes Radio, and Game Center. The page suggests the outage began just after 5 p.m. Pacific Time and it reads, "Users may be unable to access the above stores/services or make purchases."

Game Center has been unavailable for some users for several hours now, having first begun experiencing issues at around 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

It is not clear when the outage issues will be resolved, but this morning's iCloud problem was fixed within an hour.

Update 6:55 p.m. Pacific Time: After approximately an hour of downtime, Apple's services are now back up and running, aside from Game Center. Game Center continues to be unavailable for some users.

Had some issues with the App Store a little bit ago (couldn't download/install an update), but seems like it just started working again.

My iTunes Radio stopped working about an hour ago. Couldn't get it to come back on. I tried it again about 15 mins ago and it seems to be working fine now. I haven't checked my Apple TV.

EDIT: I was also having problems with the App Store but they eventually went away, and didn't have any problems installing updates via the MAS.

I'm not getting any video to play on my Apple TV. Audio seems to be just fine. I'm thinking this must be related..

EDIT - Video is now working! New episode of Community, here I come!

This seems to happen way to often

it doesn't. you just hang out on a site that reports them. if you spent as much time on Google forums or any other company, you'd notice them too.

i don't know about anyone else, but if something like game center or iCloud is down for an hour, i either don't experience it in that window, or if i can't use it, i check back in an hour or two and use it then. and i don't even know the service was "down" in a widespread fashion until MR or someone reports it.

this is bad for apple how? it's nearly unavoidable for any multi-billion dollar company focused on digital services.
