App store login is autocompleteing with the wrong email address

As per the title, I'm logged into the app store as myself and it's asking for me to input my password to do an app update, but the greyed-out email field on the login box has my wifes email address in it, so my password doesnt work. And I cant edit the email to be mine.

Any idea how I can reset it or switch off the auto complete?

That means that when the app was installed the App Store was logged in with her credentials. I'm pretty sure the only way to rectify this is to delete the app, then make sure YOU are signed into the App Store and download it again.

If this was a paid app, I suggest contacting Apple support and explaining the situation. They may have you set up Family Sharing to avoid having to pay again.
