Did you actually tap on the App Store or follow a link from a webpage, email or other place?

It looks to me like either you did or the app is pointing to Tweetbot for Mac, which is why you would get that message on the iPhone.

What happens when you kill the app and then load it again?

If you tap on the direct link for this app (Mac app, not iOS) from your iPhone, you get that image. I got the same thing a second ago.

this is definitely not what i did though. i haven't been in the app store since yesterday. And it said i have an app update and thats what came up so I don't know.

random, but do any of you ever go to google.com and always click their little link below the search bar and get taken to the app store? I do it all the time!

Hmm, that's interesting that it originated from an app update. Maybe the release of the Mac app somehow triggered (accidentally and incorrectly) an update for those with the iOS app in the iOS App Store but with the update linking to the Mac app (if that sentence makes any sense). I wonder if others have experienced the same thing as you.

I have no idea what you're talking about.
