I'd like to see more real applications. It seems the trash to useful ratio is awfully high. It seems to me I'm also seeing lots of applications that are little more than GUI's for existing open source software. And many programs that, while cheap, are poor substitutes for established software. I feel bad for a Mac noob who blunders into the store and thinks that it represents the best in Mac software; in fact, it's often the worst.

So I'd like to see Apple allow in software with less restrictions. For example lots of extremely excellent FREE software can't be in there because of Apple's terms of service. I'd like to see those apps in there; VLC for example.

What is in VNC that you like over the video players in the App Store

VLC is one of the best video players out there, and is free and open source. It plays tons of formats, and is super reliable.

VLC is great! But Apple didn't remove it because of their policies, but because of protests from one of the programmers of VLC as far as I remember.
