App store spam

THis just started last evening, but now every couple of hours I'm getting an "Update to Mavericks" message in my notifications.
Any ideas on how to stop this, as I'm not in any hurry to break my perfectly good Mountain Lion system

I don't think you can remove these. I don't see the App Store in notification centre so I think these are system notifications that can't be disabled. But I do agree these notifications can be fairly annoying especially when its constantly reminding you to install updates that you don't really care about. Like "Digital Camera RAW" updates for me🙄
