I'm getting this really weird behaviour in App Store when trying to install updates (running 10.10.1).
Currently there are two updates available to me. The NTP update and a Camera RAW update.
When I click the "Update" button for each of the aforementioned items, it momentarily shows the progress bar (like, a split second), before the button changes to "Installed". However, the update is not installed, as it keeps being visible in the available updates section and the update is not shown in the list of recently installed updates. Further, the button reverts to "Update" again after a few moments. I have tried clearing the App Store cookies and resetting the application, but I simply cannot install any updates.
I'd say this has been going on for about a week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: additionally, I get this error occasionally when opening the Updates portion of the Mac App Store:
