I've found my phone wont update some apps properly in the last few weeks. My daughter's phone has the same issue, both are 6S.
I thought it might be a bug, since then iTunes has updated to 12.6.2.20 and the phone to 10.3.3, the problem is still there.
Initially it used to report apps could not sync because sync session failed to start. Now after the updates it pretends to sync ok, skips the apps in the status of iTunes, and the apps are darkened (greyed out) on the phones. Touching the app on the phone restores it to the right brightness but they have not been updated.
I've never had a sync issue with my phone, is this a known bug? is there an easy fix?
