i have a quick question about mac app store apps. when you install a program from outside the MAS sometimes system files for the app will be located in your hard drive library. is it the same for MAS apps or are MAS app system files all located within the app you download.

the reason i ask is because i just did a fresh install to get rid of all those leftovers and if I'm going to delete an app from the MAS i want to get rid of it right this time.

thanks! I've had one that installed a .plist but no big deal as it was easy to find. thats why i thought maybe others might do the same.

I doubt it installed the plist at install time. If it was in ~Library/Preferences/ then that will have been created at run time by NSUserDefaults. There really is no issue with those hanging around anyway.
