Looking for something that can show the specs of a hard drive, such as rpm, cache, make, model, capacity,format manufacture date etc. I know there are stickers on some, but they dont always have all this info. I like to know this info as I swap and reuse hard drives.

If you're referring to your internal drive, much of that information is found in System Profiler. As for external drives, Disk Utility should show enough information (make, model) to find most, if not all of the rest of the information.
