I have angry birds on my phone and my iPad, but have never had it installed on my Macbook Pro Retina. Every time I look at app store it is badged with a update and I get the messages on the right side of the screen to update Angry Birds. When I click update it asks for a password to an e-mail I have never seen. If I swap it to my email and itunes password is says I haven't purchased it.

I just want it to go away. How can I remove it from the updates on my Mac app store?

Thanks

Final Cut X is on my computer. It has swapped over with my drive clone from my last three macs. It isn't a pirated copy unless I got screwed over when I bought the laptop. The first macbook was used.

Pirated copy of Final Cut?

He's talking about Angry Birds..

If the Mac was purchased used, is Angry birds even on the MBP?
If it is, it may be tied to the former user still, asking for that iTunes account.

it's well known that pirated copies of FCPX makes Angry Birds appear in the purchased items in the MAS.

or Im guessing you downloaded the GM version of Mavericks from a torrent. You will probably have to download the official version from the app store to get rid of that account.
