But anyways the is there a such app? I need a good one...

Thanks for all the responese... And yes the station broadcasts online.... I've tried wunder radio and it cuts like every 2 mins ugh... Any others?

ooTunes. It has a TON of stations, including a local one that broadcasts the minor league baseball team. I think it costs a couple of bucks, maybe $2.

New to the iphone...couldn't you just go to your local radio station website and stream the online show directly on the iphone? Just like I do on my laptop at home?

No. Most radio station web sites use a format that is not supported by the iPhone.

I have three radio apps: I Heart Radio, AOL Radio, and Public Radio. Between the three of them, I get all the local radio stations that I listen to. I Heart Radio has Clearchannel radio stations, AOL Radio has CBS radio stations, and Public Radio has NPR and most public radio stations. All three apps are free.

Unfortunately, most live streams are Windows Media or Silverlight or something else that doesn't work on the iPhone.

I hear ads on the radio for an app named I Heart Radio.

Disclaimer: I have never used it nor do I own an iPhone yet.

My girlfriend uses that and it works surprisingly well. There's ads on the radio here in MD for it all the time advertised by a DC station (Hot 99.5 I think).
