is there an app that checks for updates on all of the installed apps?

thank you for the speedy reply, which should i choose though? appfresh or appupdate? personally i want to have the least amount of icons in the menu bar if possible, but really i just want to best possible app with the least amount of usage on resources. thoughts?

I've found that AppFresh is more accurate.
 


I've tried that, it's basically the EXACT same program as AppFresh just under a different name.

I've been using AppFresh since Fall of last year and love it. I run it once a day, it scans over 75 of my applications and checks for updates in less than 10 seconds. It's actually three times faster than Apple's Software Update.
